Hello All,

From what I understand a midi controller such as this can be used to control the faders of the mixer.

How is the mapping of this accomplished? Would the faders be set up to input channels? ie fader 1 is input 1, fader 2 is input 2 (or 3) etc.

I ask because I would love to be able to control the volume of input channels via the hardware faders, however during the live broadcast inputs are constantly being deleted and added. Having to stop and remap inputs wouldn't really be possible, but if the hardware fader was always mapped to an input channel # that would be boss.

I hope this made sense and thank you in advance for any thoughts.

Jim

if i not remember bad but if you uses the "assign shortcut to input number (checkbox)" you can delete and add inputs

Finally RTFM and found the answer. Which is 'yes'.

Thanks for the help.
