So I under installed my graphic card and I am using the 1 GB one that is on my motherboard and I am getting the following message when starting up

D3DStartup.D3D_NEW_XP
D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE: Not available (-2005530518)

I needed the other pci slot for my BM card.

Any way to fix this?

Hi,

What model is the graphics card? You could try installing the latest drivers for it, but it's possible it is not supported.

It's one that is built into the motherboard. I updated the drivers and it's working now. How much of a difference will the graphic card be for my output? I took out a 2 GB graphic card and now using the HD Intel one that is part of the motherboard. Had no choice but to do this so I could use both pci slots for my BM cards. Picture looks ok on the screen, but no where as sharp as it was looking before pulling the card out.

Hello Martin, I have just installed Windows 7 on Apple Mac 2009 and I am getting the same error message "D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE: Not available (-2005530518)". I run dxdiag and it show directx 11 is installed. What do I do now?

DirectX 11 is installed with Windows, but you still need the latest directx driver installed for the graphics card.
Once the driver is installed the error should go away.

I have the latest Directx 12 driver installed, but I still experience that I cannot run vMix with my Nvidia graphics card.
