Hello,
is there experience with the capture device Storm Mobil from canopus with vMix? http://www.grassvalley.com/products/storm_mobile

The advantage of this device is that it have the canopus HQ hardware encoder, and can also capture and output parallel.

I would also like to know if MOTU products are compatible...
Like those ones:

Hi,

The Storm Mobile drivers are not publicly available so I can't confirm if they would work with vMix.
** Update ** The MOTU products appear to only offer standard audio drivers, the video drivers are limited to only a handful of video editors.

The question to ask these suppliers is if they provide either "WDM Capture" or "DirectShow" drivers for their products.
vMix supports both.

Regards,

Martin

Okay, thanks.
And how about "Matrox MXO2 Mini"?

I have purchased the motu hd express and it does not seem to work with anything except Premier Pro.

Wirecast is only able to pick up udio inputs.

It is a monster device, but it needs drivers.

Anyone got any further insight?

Hi dr00min,

You are correct, upon further investigation it appears only standard audio drivers are available.
The video drivers provided are designed to work only with Premiere and couple of other programs.

I have corrected my above post to reflect this.
