Hello,
There are many Settings that we feel like it will be better to be saved to Presets, too ( along with a default setting in the Settings area)
For example, the Outputs settings we have to change based on each event type. The Recording settings, too.
There are different configurations for Audio Outputs, too.
And finally, the Scripting should be Preset based.
We manually change them (or upload an exported XML) based on the event type we have and it will be much much easier if we are able to save them in a preset.
As a bonus, there can be a shortcut for loading presets.
Thank you,

What about using the import/export function in the settings?

Yes. We use it.
But I feel like it will be better if we'll upload/import(change) only one set of settings ( the reason for Presets) instead of uploading/importing 2 sets of settings (Preset + Settings).

And.. I forgot to add the Streaming Profile and the Recording settings.
This is a 3rd and 4th "import" of settings we have to do for same purpose.
This should be linked to a preset, too.

We have sort of never understood the reason for/use of/ separating settings and presets. In other words, we always create a combination of a settings file and a preset file for each project.
Perhaps an alternative solution would be to have a new setting in Settings for a preset that should automatically be opened after a Setting has been imported and vMix have restarted (if necessary). (I guess the separation has to be maintaned for backwards compability).
