Not sure if anyone else is using one of the Air mixers but I have no sound in vMix. I have used other analog mixers with USB connections with no issues. In Windows Control Panel>Sound>Recording I can see the XR18 listed and it shows that sound is coming thru. However, when I select the XR18 as my audio input for vMix it does not have any sound. Does anyone have any ideas on this? I've been on streaming vacation and tonight is the first game of the season :( Thanks for any help.

@ tdurhamjr
Are the drivers up to date?
I am not familiar with the Air Mixers, but I have had issues with Behringer USB before distinguishing between sound IN and sound OUT over USB from the mixer.

Hey Ice! Long time no talk to. I installed the one and only driver they have for it. I have a Behringer 1832USB (loaned out right now) and a dinky Q802USB. Both of the older mixers work fine in vMix.
I do think you are on to something. In the control panel I renamed the recording device as XR18. However, when I bring it in to vMix it still considers it to be "Line Behringer XR18". So I am not sure if it is grabbing the "playback device instead of the recording device?? I will try disabeling the playback and see if that does anything.
Do you have any other ideas?
Thanks! Tim

What is your Air Mixer setup for? in the setup panel is it set up 44.1Khz and what is vmix setup for in the settings > audio? is that setup to 48000KHz.
If so then you need to setup vmix to 44100KHz so your mixer is the same as vmix or setup your mixer to 48000KHz to 48000KHz to be the same as vmix.
I have a X32 Producer and I have this problem as I had the X32 setup to 44100 and vmix was set to 48000, so I changed vix to 44100 and then I could here sound.

Thanks for the info. In the midst of all the problems and testing I tried to remove the driver, reinstall the driver, etc, and now I have a driver problem. So I am doing a system restore to a week ago and I should be able to test this shortly! Thanks to you and Ice both for the quick feedback!

Tim, we currently use the XR18 on a Win8.1 vMix 15 combo, works perfect. But if I remember things right the Behringer USB driver we used for our Analog mixer does not work. Make sure you install the X18/XR18 USB driver from the Downloads tab under http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/XR18.aspxNote, for multichannel via USB you need ASIO which is supported in vMix 16 (have not tried myself yet)

Thanks Richard. I did have the correct driver. After I did a system restore in Windows to a date prior to installing the driver, and reinstalled everything, it worked fine this morning. Go figure. Having the USB Multichannel input in vMix will be really sweet!! That gives a whole new control level over audio in vMix, meaning all the various audio inputs can be turned on/off within vMix instead of the mixer.

You only need : 1. X AIR Edit (PC or Mac) Version 1.5, XR18 Windows-Driver2. configure setup 48kHz on vMix and XR18 or 41kHz on vMix and XR18 3. Master bit rate vMix 32 Nit Float like this: Add input audio:
