Vmix is the best thing out there. I sing its praises every chance I get. I am moving on from SD to HD and I was very excited. Until I learned I cant use Mpeg2 recording because I have Win8 enterprise. I realize I should have noticed this earlier, but I simply couldnt fathom Vmix not having Mpeg2. And I have to use MPEG2 because we shoot for the local news and thats what they use.

I am really just blown away that this is not included. Can someone please explain why?

vMix 16 includes an FFMPEG recording option that includes MPEG-2.

The reason the old MPEG-2 option isn't there is that Microsoft have removed it from Windows 10 and only make it available
with the media center addon in Windows 8.
