Hi there,

I'm just evaluating vMix15 and must say this piece of software blows my mind! Congrats for the work!

But there seems to be a bug in the replay files? After 20 minutes the files are split. There are two things (bugs?) I have noticed:

1. Audio gets muted for about 1 frame at the end of the 20 minutes before split, thus not seamless over the two adjacent files

2. The new file has some hickups: in one file there were 3 still frames (audio was continuing fine) while another file was missing several frames (audio fine again).

I hope that those possible bugs haven't been covered already. I couldn't find anything about it when searching for it.

Cheers,

Knut

I think I know what the problem is:

Whenever I switch programs (activating another running program)small "hickups" as described above can happen. I've already seen this behaviour with other programs so it seems that it is a Windows / DirectShow problem?

Would it make any difference raising the task priority of vMix? Or is there another workaround?

Even when only using the recorder, hickups can occur.

Tested on HPZ420 E1620 3,6GHz 8GB RAM, nVidia Quadro2000

Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi,

Take a look at the system requirements for replay below:
http://www.vmixhd.com/re.../SystemRequirements.html

The Quadro 2000 is quite underpowered for what vMix needs, so installed a recent Geforce graphics card
such as the 960 will resolve these sorts of hickups.

Regards,

Martin
