Hi Martin,
We love the product. You are doing a great job, but we have a request.
Would it be possible to create functionality to 'tag' certain frames of the output (or an input) and dump them to an external video file in such a way that we can reuse them later on in a session for replay?
To be clear, we are using VMix for broadcasting semi professional sport games. During a game all kind of interesting events will happen (a goal, a nice shot, etc). What we want is to tag those events and dump them to a short external video file (WMV, MPG format or something), for let’s say 10 secs before till 10 secs after the event. Then during a break or time-out we want to load those videos in a VMix video list input in such a way that we can replay them.
Probably this wish can easily be achieved by add some functionality to the replay input in such a way that it can dump the current replay buffer to a video file? In the buffer you already have the moment before the event and of course the event/action itself.
I'll hope the idea is clear and you can figure something out to support this kind of functionality in (near) future.
With kind regards,
Hanno.

Hello,
bert142 made a great suggestion. We would also find this functionality of dumping current "video delay" on hdd for future replays very useful (perhaps using a playlist input which is automatically updated or playlist could also represent a folder of videos similar to a photo folder that can be loaded via inputs).
Very much looking forward to this, Dundurs
