Start all video inputs at same time?

Hi- I'm using vMix HD to try to put together a video that I have three different camera angles on and want to be able to switch between. I've got all the input files loaded into vMix, and I have them all synced to a start, but I can't figure out how to get them all to start simultaneously, so that I can just hit one button, they all start, and everything is in sync for me to start swapping between them.
Anyone know how to do that?

@ geniusiq
I would look at using the "Triggers" feature or use the 'Advanced' mode of the "Shortcuts" feature. Not sure if you can get an exact "sync" start, but you should be able to get it pretty close.

@ geniusiq, Hmm, interesting use case. Please consider to make a feature request for that. Maybe that the Play and PlayPause shortcuts could have one Input, or a list of multiple Inputs, as paramater.

Shortcut Key 1 --> PlayPause Input1 Shortcut Key 2 --> PlayPause Input2 Shortcut Key 3 --> PlayPause Input3 Shortcut Key 1 --> Advanced --> add Key 2 and 3
In the settings of each video deactivate all automatic actions (maybe except for audio). Press Key 1 and all videos will start to play.

@ geniusiq Please note that although it is possible to do what you describe with vMix, it is probably not the 'best' way to accomplish that task. This topic has been touched on before and it is important to let you know that most NLE's are capable of doing Multi-cam edits and would be the preferred method. http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=2156vMix is a great 'Live' switching tool, but it doesn't give you much latitude for fixing mistakes. That's part of the adrenaline rush of a live show, but when it's already recorded, you are better off using 'Post Production' tools. Ice
