Ok. Kind of a hodge podge set up, but we are building. Here is my issue... We need to use the same feed for house sound as well as stream and recorded sound.

So, If I was to write it out in a way that shows the path of sound...

Mic - Analog board - 2tr out - small digital board with usb interface - computer - vmix - Web/Recording

I also need sound from Vmix back to house. So...

Vmix - Standard Microsoft output - Speaker Jack out - Stereo channel in to Analog board - power amp/speakers

This seems fine at lower volumes. When I push the volume at the USB interface board, weird feedback reverb loop occours.

Our main board is the mg24/14FX from Yamaha and the USB board is the XENYX 502 from Behringer.

Thoughts?

You have to set-up a mix minus on the Yamaha board and in vMix.
Don't use the 2-Track output on the Yamaha board. You have to use an Aux output for this. Route all the channels/microphones to this aux output but NOT the input channel from vMix.
In vMix set Master Audio to none and bus A to the standard Microsoft output. Route all inputs to bus M (Stream & Recording). Route all inputs to bus A but NOT the input from the USB interface.

That was a bit confusing... had to go step by step and then... youtube. Its the wrapping your head around it that is confusing...

Main board out to Small board using Aux 3 and 4.

Into Channel 2 and 4 on the small board. Split the signal to Left on 2, Right on 4.

Did the above post. Set all feeds to Aux 3 and 4 on the main board.

Go into Vmix. Set all videos and inputs with sound to M and A.

Go into Vmix Settings. Set channel A to your speaker out on your computer. This was tricky. Depends on your out. This system has 5. Trial and error. Found it.

Kill Main output. Set to none.

Connect the output of the computer to the input on the main board. In my case a stereo input 17/18.
Do not send this input on the main board to Aux 3/4.

No more issue!

Thanks ovinas!
