I am running into a problem with the tickers. It seems there is a rather limiting character limit? It resets after a certain point. Also It would be really nice if it could treat "enter" as a space or tab or something. seems after an enter it stops sensing anything after. Perhaps a writeup of how the ticker works? I haven't found any documentation about how the tickers operate.

Hi,
You can edit the template file to adjust the duration of the ticker. By default it is set to 2 minutes.
1. From the Start Menu find Notepad and right click and Run as Administrator (under Windows 7)
2. Go to the File Menu and click Open and browse to c:\Program Files\vMix2012\titles
3. Type in the filename box TickerHD.xaml and click Open.
4. The duration setting is a few lines down near AutoReverse="False" RepeatBehavior="Forever" Duration="0:2:0" />
5. To set to 1 hour for example the value would be 1:0:0 or 30 minutes would be 0:30:0
This setting will also be adjustable from within the next version of vMix.

Will the settings and content be stored as well? (Text, font face, font size, color)

Hi,
Can you explain in more depth what you mean?
The text changes you make to a title (font, color, etc) are already saved in the current version of vMix.

I add input > title > tickerHD
Right click on the TickerHD.xaml window to bring up the text editor. Change the text content, font face, font color, size. Save the preset. Exit program. Load Program and preset.
None of the changes I made to TickerHD are saved. Am I missing something?
I can use notepad to edit TickerHD.xaml, but not a good option.
Also it would seem the ticker would repeat when the text reaches the end, but it's timer based, which seems odd.

Hi,
Have you tried saving the preset while the ticker is paused?
If it the ticker is running the settings won't save.

Pausing the ticker allowed it to be saved. Thanks!
How about the other issue of having the loop restart at the end of the text instead of by time?
