I have a problem to import Screen capture video from Ipad to my Computer (win7). In computer I have blackmagic hdmi capture card, it work's okay with my camcorder. I can get video out with lightning-hdmi cable when I connect Ipad to television. What kind of signal Ipad output makes? I have tried out all Decklink card setups.

The problem is the missing HDCP (copy protection) support of the Blackmagic devices. Same happens with Apple TV. My solution was to use a small and cheap HDMI splitter between the Apple TV and the Blackmagic capture card.

I find finally right setups:
- Decklinkin setup: Set Input: HDMI Set default video standard as: HD 720p 59.94
-Vmix setup: Input:HDMI Resolution 1280x720 Frame rate: NTSC 59.94p Video Format: HDYC
I got a screen capture with these settings to view.

The BMD card is especially finicky about source material. In particular, it will not cope with 1080p video, since that's not a valid broadcast standard. Even though, that's what most game consoles and tablets output for display. This fact eventually pushed me to use an AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD (C127) HDMI capture card. It can handle a 1080p stream. I've also documented using an HDMI splitter to satisfy the HDCP handshake. http://www.mgraves.org/2...put-of-a-nexus-7-tablet/Michael

Just a thought. Another approach is to use Airplay on the ipad and use a program on the computer as an airplay receiver. Then use the desktop input in vMix to display the application running on the computer. I like using Reflector or AirServer... they each have their advantages but both also let you display multiple iOS devices in a single screen (very useful for teacher/student sessions)
I hope this helps.
