Hi everybody!

We are looking at making more training videos for vMix and would like your input. At the moment we have a few on Youtube covering some basics already.

We're interested to know what videos you would've liked to see when you first started using vMix. What's something that really stumped you when you first started out? We'd like to make using vMix easier from the very start.

Any suggestions that you had would be great. We'll start out with the basics and then move into some harder topics down the track.

I've just started playing around with the web interface, but there's definitely a learning curve. I see the potential for not having to be directly in front of my computer to switch inputs (and controlling everything on my smartphone), so I'd love to see a tutorial made for this feature.

Thanks! I am more and more impressed with vMix every day.

Many thanks for this,

I personally will like to see:

1. Complete Audio Setup using external Audio Mixer with Skype

2. Setting up Virtual Sets with 3-4 Camera angles

A complete step by step workflow will do
thanks 1 user thanked Damn2Good4U for this useful post.

I think shortcuts and triggers would be a great topic as well.

I've been working with shortcuts from the beginning. Recently I started to experiment with triggers on a special input. Very interesting and makes things possible that you thought vMix cannot handle. In my particular case f.e. an animated lower third (existing mov-file).

I believe a complete series of videos from 'Set up' to multi camera mixing with all possible features being used.......Steaming, etc...using audio mixers, the full works...All that vMix is capable of.

I don't know how to use the built-in Titles, Scoreboards and Virtual Sets.
I also am interested in using the vDesk app.
Both of these items are next on my list.

I am new to vMix and would willing to screen record and send to you how I set-up my school morning show. (would need share type\location - Google Drive?)

That way you could see how a new user figured out how to use your software.

Then you may be able to point out better ways to do something and make training on that. I am sure there are many, many things I am doing in a clunky, non-effeicent way.

Love vMix!

Best,
Charles

Do this, go to 'Youtube, and do a vMix search, you will see some videos there that are very good for those who may be a bit slow, or finding it hard to understand the instructions in the help files......George price has a good few showing mixer setups, and other ways to do things in vMix

@SSCS
Hey Charles, drop me a email @ edgriswold@gmail.com I'm in Safety Harbor near you. You can see my systems at www.streambreeze.net so I know a thing or two about vMix :-)
Take care
