Hello, I'm a tech lab specialist. I was asked to look into setting up the vMix as a behind the scene video mixer which would output to a different program (Camtasia) via external mode. The presets are a breeze, but the only problem I have is the settings I set up in vMix doesn't take effect on different user accounts. It need to starts the external, minimized, and full screen mode with all user accounts. Minimized are solved by editing the properties in the EXE file. I was wondering if there are commands I can use in the target path in the EXE's properties? If not, is it possible to create a script to do what I need?

Thanks.

If you use the web API and "run" these commands:

http://127.0.0.1:8088/api/?Function=FullscreenOn
http://127.0.0.1:8088/api/?Function=StartExternal

I'd suppose you could do it in whatever language or type of script that has invisible webbrowsers.

Good luck on your project,
Håvard
