hi martin,

here goes the issues:

1. when run vmix at background it causes drops;
2. using "Above Normal" priority it causes video smooth issues, it not happens with "Normal"

...now the requests:

1. a lot of users are asking for rtmp streamer. it can be another BIIIG step for vmix. please martin, give us this wonderfull feature
2. x264 lossless recording, would be great if this feature was available.

thank you for your attention, regards,

melody

Please ensure no other programs are running on your computer as any one of them could be interfering.

1. Flash Media Live Encoder provides far better quality than vMix could ever provide so it doesn't seem worth it for lower quality?
2. Any encoding of x264 would require a license fee of $200 per user, if you want to pay this let me know.

Regards,

Martin

just vmix and FMLE working, every time i click FMLE to see if all is running ok, it causes drops on vmix.

for rtmp streamer, can you implement the FMLE streamer on vmix? maybe its a better solution. however ffmpeg have rtmp streamer.
for x264, what about ffmpeg working together with vmix?

regards,
melody

Hi Melody,

As mentioned previously, commercial projects cannot use ffmpeg due to patent issues.
MainConcept is the option I have looked at which costs $200 per user.

Martin

Hi Melody,

As mentioned any x264 regardless of source will still require us to pay the licensing fees of around $200 per license.
This is unavoidable so it's not much help posting various options out there when I can't legally use any of them...

Sorry

Regards,

Martin
