Hi,

Great software very intuitive to use.

One question...is there an option to have a window as an input
source such as a screen saver that runs in its own window.

Thanks,
Rich Pisani

The Desktop Capture feature can be used for this purpose.
Use the vMix Desktop Capture Server program and use it as an input in vMix.

Note that if the window is hidden it will not work as this is a limitation of windows.

Hi Martin,

I want to capture the second screen of a remote PC, but as far I can see this is not possible (yet). I've tried all kinds of coordinates, but without result.

Can you confirm?

Regards,

Hanno.

Is there a tutorial or instructions on how to use the vMix Desktop Capture?

Hi Hanno,

Imagine all the screens are one big display.
So if you have two 1920x1080 screens side by side left to right. To capture the second screen you would use:
x: 1920
y: 0
width: 1920
height: 1080

Martin
