Hello All,

Thought I would share our setup for our church's streaming service. Our computer's specs are;

Windows 8.1 (Waiting on 10!)
Intel Core i7 4770 3.4GHz
16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
XFX R7-250X Graphics Card (in retrospect, get something a little better than this!)
Blackmagic Mini Recorder PCI-E Input Card
240GB PCI-E SSD
2TB Magnetic HDD for Storage

Our Video Setup Includes;
2 Sony NEX-FS100U Cameras
Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio Switcher

Our Internet is 100Mb up and down

Here's a pic of the setup;

And here's all the screens closer up;

Our Stream is online Sundays at 10:45CST at this address;
Awaken Church Live

Thanks for checking it out!

Very cool!
Out of curiosity, where does the ATEM fit into your workflow, as an input to vMix or vice versa?

I actually have the SDI program out (ATEM) coming into my Blackmagic Decklink Mini Recorder's SDI in so the Program from the ATEM is an input on vMix.

Another note is the middle monitor is actually touch screen too so I can move the fader a little more realistically.

I would put another MiniRecorder to the Computer and leave the Television Studio behind. All the switching in one place keeps it simple and easy to use.
As a side effect you also have less latency in your setup.

Yeah I had thought about doing that... I think our biggest issue would be we are going to be adding another camera soon, and possibly more down the road, and we'll be using vmix's powerpoint integration to put lyrics up on the screen and having to click through the slideshow, transition between sources, and put up other information, it would become kind of difficult to do all through one program.

We're going to probably transition down the road to having the ATEM Television Studio be hooked up to another system and have someone primarily focused on switching, and then do lyrics/lower thirds primarily with vMix.

An update on this setup - we started including motion lower thirds that are .mov files with alpha channel. Our old graphics card was struggling to keep up with all of the demand so we upgraded to a Geforce GTX 970. We also added in a third camera that we'll be taking advantage of this Sunday morning. Here's a pic of the graphics card (ignore the horrible cable management)
