Problem using PowerPoint file in vMix with KingSoft office

Hey Guys, I am trying to add a PowerPoint file in vMix but I use KingSoft Office (much cheaper) for all my office files. It reads writes them with no issues. However, when I tried to add a PPT file into vMix I got an error message that I needed to confirm the format and confirm that PowerPoint is installed. Is is possible to insert the PowerPoint file if I am using KingSoft Office instead of Microsoft Powerpoint?

Disregard this request. I loaded up a trial of PowerPoint and the method I really need to use to do what I want is capture Powerpoint output via Desktop Capture.
