Ice,
A number of bugs were fixed during the beta that caused the same result, so this was a new bug which was a bit harder to replicate.

As previously stated Martin, you never cease to amaze with your ability to quickly respond and resolve issues. That can both be a virtue and a curse... It is sometimes difficult for us to know what you are working on till your "Next" release comes out hoping that 'our' particular issue or one that we have raised has been resolved. It is important for everyone to remember that you can't please everyone and that not all problems can be solved. I apologize if my previous post was taken the wrong way, I was just slightly taken aback that a previously raised issue was being acknowledged as something new. I know you take all "issues" seriously and deal with them as you can. I just want to point out that as a community we are all trying hard to bring 'issues' to your attention and it is perfectly understandable that they can't all be at the top of the priority list and we certainly appreciate all the efforts you go to in developing vMix.

Sorry for the off-topic but I absolutely agree with IceStream - the quality of service and speed of responses is simply phenomenal. Many thanks to Martin!

admin wrote:Thanks jip, that was very helpful and I have been able to fix the issue in the latest download (15.0.0.65) I hate to bring this up, but it seems the Replay speed defaults to 10% regardless of the value during preset saving. The issues of preset loading appears to be corrected.

A minor issue with Replay module renaming:
The default name for Replay appears to be the storage directory name. When the Replay "A" module name is changed to, for instance, "Replay", the input title for Replay preview (B) remains unchanged, although one would expect this to follow the renaming. However, the change is reflected correctly in web API. If I click the settings cog for Replay preview, the new name is already there, and is changed on close of the settings window.

When I had quite a complex setup with 5 camera feeds (3 x Cameras plugged in through Decklink Quad & 2 x Teradek Cube) and a multitude of colour, video and image inputs.
The latency and CPU usage in vmix would randomly spike and would go quite high but this was only when External Output was selected. I hadn't had this issue before until the event we did. Because of this the output would sometimes just stop and freeze.

I am trying vMix under the 60-day trial. I am very happy with it except for one pretty big bug to me. When I set up a PIP overlay, it works fine as long as the input being used in the PIP window is NOT zoomed. If you go into settings for the input and zoom the image, then the PIP window enlarges.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

If you would like to crop the edges of a zoomed in source when using overlay, this can be done via the following:
1. Go to Add Input -> Select Colour and click OK 2. Double click the Colour input and from the MultiView tab select the zoomed in input as [1] 3. Use this new colour input for the overlay instead

Thanks, Martin. That worked! I'm going to have to learn a lot more to understand exactly what I just did, but, hey, it works! Kenny

Hi, everybody! I have a problem with vmix. After cleaning of the register of the computer, vmix issues such message: "vmix couldn't locate the following components. vmix source filter registry." I don't know what to do. The program isn't started. Help please.

Do a 'System Restore', to the date when it worked properly......Registry cleaning is NOT always a good thing, as some programs remove important Windows files that are important to running or installing some applications correctly....Try a 'System Restore' .....that is the first thing I do when I get any issues after installing or uninstalling any program, as sometimes uninstalling some programs, can remove shared files which other programs use...

One issue seems to remain in the previous releases.
The replay speed might not be saved correctly. If the preset is saved when the replay speed is at 100%, the speed loads correctly, but if it is saved at 50%, for example, opening the preset sets it to 10%. Have others run into this behavior?

If you have Anti Virus installed, disable it, and try reinstalling, and if the option comes up for Repair, Remove, use Repair...Can't remember if vMix installer gives this option....but disable the Anti Virus and do a complete uninstall first, search the registry for any fragments of vMix, remove any folder that vMix has installed anything, and try installing again

Another small question: Can anyone else resize the columns in the Instant Replay panel, namely the column for the name of the replay event? The cursor changes into a double arrow at the edge of column, but dragging the column wider or narrower does not seem to have any effect.

Not sure, as I have not used the Replay, but in the ordinary program, the input sizes can be adjusted...In Settings under Displays, you can change the sizes of the input windows.....Check to see if this also adjust the Replay windows....

Thanks for the input. However, I'm referring to the text field width in the event list, not the size of input views.
