vMix team,

I'm curious about the color setting for inputs. When I use vMix to white balance, or adjust the color settings of an input, is vMix working with the video capture devices drivers for that, or is it using the graphics card's GPU to handle that. While ordering my new capture card, I noticed that de-interlacing, color correction, etc was a feature on the onboard video engine. Does vMix take advantage of that, or let it go to waste and us the GPU?

Reference: Magewell xi400de-sdi

Quote:
Color Space Switch: Hardware Color Space Switch
De-interlace: Vertical filter de-interlacing; motion-adaptive de-interlacing
Image Scale: Hardware 5-Tap Scale
Image Mirror: Horizontal; vertical
Image Clip: Yes
Image Adjustment: Brightness/contrast/hue adjustment Saturation adjustment/control of monochrome and color Gamma Adjustment separately adjust the brightness and contrast of R/G/B

Excellent question, I would also like to know that.
And, if vMix is sometimes using the video card's engine, inform the user about when that happens. Not critical, but useful, information.
Thanks.
