Hi,
My dept will be buying vMix if I can get it working.
Right now, I'm using vMix15 Trial Version.
At the "Add Input", I've selected "stream" with "rtsp over udp".
I've keyed in input = rtsp://camera ip address/h264
I can see the video, but there is no audio.

I confirmed that there is audio from the ip camera when I use "VLC media player" instead of vMix.

Our ip camera: Dynacolor NH720
Audio Compression G.711/G.726 ADPCM/AAC

I've selected "vMix audio" as audio input.

Please help. We've delayed implementing vMix for one year already. Thanks :)

@ comzm

I am not familiar with RTSP but...
I found this thread in 'Search':

audio must be AAC - vMix doesn't 'do' G711 audio unfortunately

What make/model of camera is it you are having trouble with?
As far as I know, vMix pulls the RTSP stream in with a VLC plugin so if it works in one, should work in the other.
Try adjusting the buffer setting to something really low like 5 miliseconds and see if that helps.
Or try RTSP over UDP - you might need experiment by check or uncheck the 'low latency' option and see which works best for your camera

This is by no means the definitive answer, but there are no follow-up posts to indicate differently.
You state: Audio Compression G.711/G.726 ADPCM/AAC.
Which would imply that it should work if those are separate and selectable options but again, I am not familiar with IP cameras or RTSP.
Hope that helps some.

Thanks for your reply.
I saw another post, someone using VLC to stream out to vMix.
Not sure whether I can use VLC to take in streams from the IP camera and stream out to vMix at the same time (both VLC and vMix on the same computer)
