How would this HP ProDesk work for up to 2-3 Cameras at 720p vmix, along with a single remote desktop capture and a few images/lower thirds graphics?

It would all be running in 720p, with recording and possibly SD streaming in the future.

Also, does anyone know if this AverMedia card:

http://www.amazon.com/Av...s=avermedia+hd+component

is compatible with vMix? I have done some searching on the internet but haven't found anything regarding directshow compatibility. I did find this forum entry that seems to indicate that someone has been able to use it with Wirecast:

Should anything that works with wriest also work with vMix?

Not guaranteeing this but I don't think it supports DirectShow. http://www.avermedia-usa...aspx?Id=482&tab=FAQ.
I suggest you look at the C127 http://avertv.avermedia....roductDetail.aspx?Id=565

Thats what I was afraid of, thanks. It would've been a really cool option if it worked.

Any opinions on the computer, I think it should work but I don't want to buy a computer that is underpowered immediately.

I may have found a better PC option. http://www.amazon.com/HP...keywords=core+i5+desktop

Its $420, has a quad core i5 and 4GB of ram. Also has enough pce express and pci express x16 slots for 3 capture cards and a graphics card. I am thinking with the money I would save I could buy a graphics card and more ream when I needed it. Would whats there plus a good graphics card be enough pc to support 3 Hd captures and a few other inputs?

Can anyone confirm if it is possible to use multiple C127 cards in the same machine, provided that you have enough card slots?
