Is there any possibility of adding a 1KHz tone to the colour bars?

The way I do this is to: go to Add Input COULOUR >colour bars then Add Input AUDIO> and add your 1KHz tone, double click on the colour bars input and go to MUTI VIEW and add your 1KHz tone to position 1, now go to your 1KHz tone input and double click on that, go to the GENERAL TAB and click in the box Automatically Restart after Transition this will make the 1KHz tone restart every time you put the colour bars on air, if you want the 1KHz tone to keep playing until you take the colour bars off air is to press LOOP on the 1KHz tone input.

I hope this helps.

@ Len56

Certainly a workaround, but as a feature request, it would be nice if the tone could be built in to the colour bar input option, perhaps even with a tic box to play or mute.

For those of us that don't understand... what does the 1k tone do for you in your production?

EDIT: I googled it :)

For the few of you who've never had to work with tones... it's for test/sync/reference by the upstream engineers to ensure that the signals works for both audio and video before the program actually starts.
