Maybe it's trivial. I would like to understand the use of External output on Vmix. I have the HD version. With only one video card. And 'enough?
Thank You

@ STADIORADIO

Typically, the "External" output feature requires an I/O card (or Device) in much the same way as a Camera input does to be 'captured' by the computer.
The 'Output' signal can then be sent to an external recorder or monitor or hardware switcher or encoder or another computer with the appropriate capture device.
Your Video card is not a part of the "External" output feature, although you can use the "Fullscreen" feature to output to a second monitor (or other device) for similar purposes.

Hope that helps.
