Sadly, the fullscreen performance issue is worse than ever.
Bug info:
vMix Version:
15.0.0.62, 64-bit
Master Resolution and Framerate:
1080p60
Other performance related info:
External Out (vMix Video) 1 and 2 is active and I'm running 3x Intensity Pro inputs @ 720p60
Whenever I am to use the fullscreen function, wheter it would be MultiView, Output or Preview, render time jumps to 50ms from 4, and FPS is reduced to around 45 from 60.
System Specs:
i7-3960X 64Gb 1600Mhz nVidia GTX 670
Other than that, another awesome patch from you guys!
Cheers, Håvard

vMix 15 looks great!
There is a particular issue related to replay and loading presets. If the source input for replay module (Output in this case) is not present at loading a stored preset, the "B" input for the replay seems to be orphaned and cannot be closed.

Is 1500 USD the normal price for Vmix Pro or why is it crossed out?
Is 1200 USD just a limited time offer?

1500 is the normal price and $1200 is a limited time promo price. So for existing 4k the promo upgrade is $500. Not sure how long he is doing the promo price.

Unfortunately multibitrate still does not work with FFMPEG in vMix 15.0.0.63 - just tried it with the exact same settings as in vMix 14. Still getting the "input/output"-error:

I found another weird behavior with failed preset load with replay:
First, I try to open a preset where the Replay is included, but where the replay source is not present. This leaves an orphaned Replay preview which cannot be closed. Then, I close the preset using the button in the top menu bar. The clear preset has two blank inputs. After this, when I add an video file input included in the preset loaded first, the orphaned Replay preview appears, replacing the other blank input. Again the Replay preview cannot be closed.

when instant replay freezes or starts to behave weird for a reason or other it many time is impossible to restart from the saved preset or last preset. I have to create the session from start again (empty session) It does not help if I boot the computer. Vmix claims that instant repaly is already in use or says something about objects or some cameras are all ready in use etc. One way to make vmix work weird is to replay a clip which has only inpoint, not outpoint at all.
One problem might be that when vmix freezes there was A in output, when I start the last preset there is conflict that A is also in output and in one replay input, that is why it will not open.

Kind of bug: I use shortcuts in shuttlePro RepalayTogleSelectedEventCamera1, 2, 3 and 4. If I have only 2 cameras connected to instant replay as camera 1 and 2 the shortcuts for camera 3 and 4 still works. This means that if I accidentally press the RepalayTogleSelectedEventCamera4 button this angle will be selected from the event and when I play the event there will be black picture as long as the event lasts. Other visible cameras 1 and 2 comes first but last one is black picture. This is difficult because you can not see if the camera angle 3 or 4 is selected.
-
How to use shuttle scroll wheel to adjust existing in or out point of the event? Example I press the 5s button and then want to adjust the in and out more precisely. Yes I can scroll the clip with the wheel but if I hit "in" button then it creates new event from the the clip. Confusing.
I can do it with mouse just sliding the cursor over the in point timecode with mouse left pressed down, but how to do it with shuttle scroll wheel? Am I missing something? Should there be a shortcut to hit if I just want to move the current inpoint to the place I have scrolled the clip with shuttle wheel.

I have not found shortcut which works just like "Play events" button in desktop interface. Desktop button starts and also ends the playback with transition. In shortcuts you have to use two different buttons: one for start and one for ending (if you do not have time to wait the clip end by itself). Is it possible to have shortcut just like the desktop one?
There is not too much extra buttons in Shuttle and that's why I would rather use only one button for that.

Hello, this is the first time I write in this forum, excuse my English, my native language is Spanish. I thought seriously about buying Vmix 15 Pro for use in a television channel. A few days ago I was testing the "Vmix 14"; I could add entries in my capture card "Avermedia C027" and "Logitech c920". I could also choose to check "Bleind Deinterlace" to remove horizontal lines, also tried recording in MP4 without any problem. Currently I installed "VMIX 15" and have had several problems with this recording was stopped after an hour and have obtained several lost fragments. Nor could I choose check "Bleind Deinterlace". The video input hdmi "Avermedia" was blinking as if the camera was turned off but in fact this turned on, these problems did not happen in my tests in 12 days with "VMIX 14".

Thremir,
It would be best to try resetting all settings to default in Settings as it looks like you might have some settings enabled which will make the fullscreen worse, particular playing around with the settings in Performance, these should all be left as default.

thomas,
Please email us the full streaming log including the rtmp urls intact. Also make sure you have double checked the settings, including username and password if necessary as these options may not have been imported from 14.

jip,
Make sure you have 15.0.0.63 installed as this solves this issue.

jkmakela,
Please post any questions or reports in a single post as it is hard to keep track if multiple posts are done. It is also probably best to discuss the instant replay in the dedicated forum from now on.
Could you please post over there your full system specifications and as much detail as possible on the freezing issue? Thanks

The image above shows when entering MPEG-2 after the camera, the video does not show the actual display. just follow the camera view. even when entering the camera after entering the input MPEG-2 files, image camera view will change color and are a shadow of the MPEG-2. as shown below. whether this is a bug in v15? The v14 works well.

Looks like a graphics card issue of some kind. What graphics card is installed on that machine and what is being used for Kamera 1? Could you try installing vMix 14 again from the web site below: http://www.vmixhd.com/download/vmix14.exeAnd provide a screenshot of the same setup to confirm it is working.

Thank you for the suggestion. I installed 15.0.0.63 but errors continue to occur. I created a setup without hardware inputs, and used a list of video files as the source. A replay input was present, and apparently worked fine. The replay Camera 1 was "Output", since I did not have any hardware camera inputs available. I then saved the preset and closed vMix. When I reopened vMix and opened the saved preset, I got error "The following inputs could not be loaded: 9: Replay: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" "RecentPreset" The preset loads otherwise, but there is the Replay Preview in the input list, and I cannot close that. When I try to add a proper Replay input, I get "Instant Replay is already in use. Only one session can be open at a time". Basically, this problem breaks any saved preset, since it is impossible to add a working Replay even in another storage folder.

@ Martin Not to beat a dead horse, but jip's issue of Replay presets and orphaned Replay B input was raised several times early on, over a month ago... http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=3488 http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=3344I admire all the work you're doing and I am sure it's a busy time for you preparing for NAB, it is likely an issue that was easily overlooked when working on more important "fixes" at the time. I'm glad you've been able to resolve it (at least I hope it's resolved as I won't be able to test any further since I am not in a position to upgrade just yet). Keep up all the great work! Ice
