Setup: vMix Basic V14, camcorder connected to capture card via HDMI. (Kids school for student news)

Things work well and can stream out the audio from the camcorder, when selecting the camera input I also choose the audio from that device too.

When I try to configure Recording it will not save on ANY of the format types if I select to record audio, if I do NOT select audio it records fine. I have ensured that audio is set to 16bit in the main settings, no other option in the device audio settings and tried all kbps rates in record settings screen.

Attached is a file with the dialog box that has the audio check box that causes the error and the error message box that reads:
Recording_OK_Button
No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection.

Can any advise me how to record with audio?

Thanks,
Wayne

Wayne,
I have Basic HD on one computer so I tested and I had no issues with a Logitech Webcam or a Sony Cam going into the Decklink Mini Recorder. I would not think there is sound limitations on the Basic (Free) version. But the mere fact that it will stream with audio but just not record might be a program bug.

Can anyone confirm is saving audio while recording is a limitation of the free version? If it's not then still hoping someone can advise how to get it working!

Thanks,

Wayne
