Note: New features should not be submitted here, please use the Feature Requests forum instead.Instant ReplayThe big new feature in vMix 15 is a brand new Instant Replay system supporting four cameras and continuous recording. Just posted a quick update (15.0.0.56) to the same download link.
This fixes some resizing and scroll bar issues on the main vMix window. Also fixes lower than expected frame rates with some RTMP inputs. (This doesn't affect streaming)

When selecting an Input as Ext. Out, the list doubles (doesn't clear old list-box) when clicking OK and re-opening the Ext. Out window in the menu: Cheers, Håvard

Possible bug with FFMPEG.
I can`t do multibitrate-streaming with FFMPEG in vMix 15.0.0.58, even though the settings are exactly the same as in vMix 14.
When I hit "Stream" i get: "vMix Error - streaming [tcp @ xxxxxxx] TCP Buffer has been set to 6390784 bytes rtmp://xxxxxxxxxxx: Input/output error"
"FFMPEG.Exited built on Jan 8 2015 02:08:21 with Microsoft (R) 32-bit C/C++ Optimizing Compiler Version 16.00.40219.01 for 80x86 configuration: --enable-gpl --enable-version3 --enable-libx264 --toolchain=msvc --enable-zlib --enable-libfaac --enable-nonfree libavutil 54. 16.100 / 54. 16.100 libavcodec 56. 19.100 / 56. 19.100 libavformat 56. 18.100 / 56. 18.100 libavdevice 56. 3.100 / 56. 3.100 libavfilter 5. 6.100 / 5. 6.100 libswscale 3. 1.101 / 3. 1.101 libswresample 1. 1.100 / 1. 1.100 libpostproc 53. 3.100 / 53. 3.100 Guessed Channel Layout for Input Stream #0.1 : stereo Input #0, dshow, from 'video=vMix Video:audio=vMix Audio': Duration: N/A, start: 5017.729000, bitrate: 1536 kb/s Stream #0:0: Video: rawvideo (UYVY / 0x59565955), uyvy422, 1920x1080, 25 tbr, 10000k tbn, 25 tbc Stream #0:1: Audio: pcm_s16le, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, s16, 1536 kb/s [tcp @ 039233A0] TCP Buffer has been set to 6390784 bytes Last message repeated 1 times"
Streaming-resolution is set to 1920x1080p25, my input sources are 1080i50. When I change to FMLE instead of FFMPEG it works like a charm.
I am doing a big soccer-stream tomorrow, any ideas?
Best regards Thomas

It sounds like the stream names might be different. Could you email me the full streaming log found in c:\programdata\vmix\streaming info@vmix.com.auThanks, Martin vMix

That was fast, thanks! I can`t find any log at C:\Program Files (x86)\vMix15\streaming, but there are two XML-files. If i disable multibitrate and only do one bitrate it works like a charm.. admin wrote:It sounds like the stream names might be different. Sorry, the path is c:\programdata\vmix\streaming which is separate to the vmix installation folder
(it might be hidden so type it in directly into My Computer)

FFmpeg streaming is not working: "Stream name cannot be empty" Where can I enter in a stream name? (if it means stream key, I don't use it)

What CDN are you using? It's likely the stream key / name is actually the last part of URL being entered.

The settings are exactly the same as in vMix14.
It seems that vMix is streaming however the stream button is not red, but the flash player shows only the connecting animation.

If the url is rtmp://servername/directory/live Then place rtmp://servername/directory in the URL and live as the Stream Key.
This separation is important for consistency in the way vMix handles streaming. In the past FFMPEG may have cut up the URL as needed automatically, but this is not a recommended way of doing things and can cause problems which is why things are enforced in 15.

Just doing some testing for a event we have on the weekend up in Mackay (MMA Cagefighting) and just doing some testing to see if a error I've been having with audio frame dropping is fixed, however i noticed that the option to make a backup of the FLV is no longer in the advanced options for the streaming setup. (attached a screen shot of both 14 and 15.) If this has been moved where is the option to do so now (always want to have 2 to 3 backups at all times.) also Thank you for the force CBR Option, casting to Twitch should be easier now. The backup stream and save to file options are only available when using FMLE. From the Streaming window select FMLE as the Application.
