Difference in quality normal full screen and screen recording in 1920 X1080

Quality is depleting when i take screenshot of normal vmix fullscreen and screenshot after doing recording in 1920 X 1080 (full hd) parag_ca attached the following image(s):  vmix full screen.png (117kb) downloaded 9 time(s). final output after recording at 1920 1080 full hd.png (201kb) downloaded 11 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

More details, we like hearing details... What you have said so far doesn't really mean anything. What quality/settings are you recording at? What is your full screen output screen resolution set to? Anything else that might be related?

I am doing desktop capture of lan pc having aspect ratio of 1280 x 800 & i am doing recording in size of 1920x1080 (without doing any cropping of blank space)
Bit rate: 8
Frame rate: pal 50 i
File format: mpg
Version is 14.0.0.97
When I click full screen button on vmix then video quality is brighter then the quality of recording.
I would be thankful if you could please guide me what else I shall mention to explain my problem in better way.

Most codecs apply some form of compression, it is unlikely that you will get a "perfect" duplicate of your original screen capture.
You are probably best to experiment with the different formats and bit rates to see which one gives you the best results for the file size that you are comfortable with and for what it is you are recording.
To be honest, I am not sure I "see" a serious problem in the images you display unless the sharpness and brilliance is of a major importance to you.

One thing to try is make sure the latest version of vMix is installed. 14.0.0.97 is quite old now
there was a fix on some graphics cards in cases where the recording is a bit dim.

Like Ice said, a screenshot of an 8Mbit video, even if its twice the resolution, may not look as good as a screenshot of your screen output simply because the screen output isn't compressed. Try Martin's idea for sure and then just realize what is going on with compression. There is a reason pro video cameras record at much higher bitrates than 8. If you want uncompromised quality then record to AVI files or at least the max bitrate for mpeg. Yes the files will be larger, but your video editor will deal with it more easily(if AVI) and the recorded quality will be better. Just a tradeoff so do whatever works best for your situation.

Martin, I am using LAN cable to do desktop capture so I don't think there shall be any question on capture card quality.
but still thanks a ton everyone for your detailed reply and guidance.
Actually I am a new user to this software & am using trial version just to check its suitability to me.
Can you guide me one more thing since I am using a trial version right now. In settings>about Input & Capture inputs are written as 100. Does it means that as soon as I try capturing 100 times my software will get locked. In other words software will get automatically locked in 60 days or 100 trials whichever is earlier.
Am I interpreting it correct.
If yes is there any way I can know how many captures I have done till yet.

In My Honest Opinion if you are going to record at 1920x1080 Mpeg then the bit rate should be at 25Mbps minimum for a decent looking image
