Hi,
Recording live to the x264 format is currently not supported. It is recommended that you record to either DV or CineForm and then convert to x264 through one of the many free utilities available.

Unfortunately ffmpeg cannot be used in commercial software due to licensing of the x264 format. The cost would be around $99 per user to offer x264 encoding, so if there is enough demand it could be offered in the future as a separate addon to vMix.

in that case, maybe a partnership with another firm (like mainconcept, for example) would be great.
so, let`s wait for...
may be that in the near future there may be other possibilities.
regards, and thanks for attention.
