When using FMLE the audio sync is OK, but with ffmpeg the audio falls out of sync and gets worse the longer a broadcasting takes.
After 1 hour the audio is a few seconds out of sync.

Do more people have this problem?

Hi,

Can you provide the following information to help us diagnose the issue:

1. Version of vMix installed
2. Streaming settings used
3. What is selected as the Recording Audio device in vMix Settings -> Audio?
4. What CPU and graphics card is being used in the system and is the render time on average less than 20ms when streaming?

Thanks,

Martin

wwdv,
We have not run into that problem (1280x720 25p 1.5/2.5 Mbps, AAC audio)

wwdv,

Those specifications look a bit low compared to the minimum requirements for vMix.
In particular the GT610 is below the recommended requirements.

If vMix fails to keep up with the frame rate on a consistent basis that could cause
a delay. You can check this by clicking View Status in the Streaming Window and see if FFMPEG is reporting dropped frames.

Then again, it could be an issue with the streaming provider.

Regards,

Martin

FMLE doesn't have any problems while it uses more cpu recourses than ffmpeg.
So I will stick to FMLE.

With the new FFmpeg option 'threads(=10)' in vMix14.0.0.112 my audio sync problem is solved!
