Everyone,

I was wondering if someone is willing to create a bug for live Temperature like the current time and temperature outside.

Thanks,

Dustin

Do you mean something like what was developed by Thremir as discussed and showcased here:

http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=2148

Or the weather pack developed by Yaghi here:

http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=2275

Not sure if the apps are still available, but I'm sure you could try to contact them through the vMix Forum.

Ice,

I do not want a lowerthird. I want a bug that only shows the current weather temperature outside. Accessing the information through weather rss files or weather xml files.

It's still not clear what exactly you want to have or achieve.
Are you wanna receive the data of a existing weather-information-service or do you wanna receive the data of your own temperature-measuring-device?
And what do you mean by "show". Which format, where, etc..?

I guess there are a few services to receive data from offical weather-stations.
E.g. http://openweathermap.org/api
where you could receive an xml-file via: http://api.openweatherma...?id=2172797&mode=xml

Showmyweather.com has a pretty nice little ad-free weather bug for websites. If nothing else you could use the desktop capture tool and capture it from a blank webpage that auto refreshes now and then or something.

I want to receive the data from an existing weather information service. I want to have the xml file come up as an lower third or TV Bug. with Time and Temperature. There has to be away to do this. I am not sure how to exactly add XML information to VMIX.

@ dustink568

I would try and contact Håvard & Sondre...

Their App, vMixWeather, as mentioned above ( http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=2148 ) is right down that alley, pulling current info from a weather service, so maybe, with just a few tweaks, they could develop an app to meet your exact needs.
