Thanks for posting Ed. We stressed the system to the max over the past 4 days. We streamed over 40 hours of content in the past 4 days. I really like the system over things that I've used previous despite a few hiccups.

I managed to catch some of the action Ed, for the most part I think it was a job well done considering the hectic pace of the various heats... quite the task for the commentators and director I'm sure. The only negative comment I have is the finish-line/transition camera having crossed the axis, somewhat disorienting for the viewer, but I'm not sure what the limitations might have been at the venue or who was responsible for the camera set-up locations around the track. It's always tough at any venue, especially races, to have an effective flow of the action when you have to change camera angles, I've always found it very disorienting, even in Formula 1 racing when you jump further down the track around some corner to pick-up the lead car. But Kudos to you and Stream Breeze for sharing the link.

Cool! I'm curious what kind of cameras, how many and how you had them connected.

We're considering going to hd, but we have some issues with the number of cameras we need as well as the length of the cable (500 feet on some runs).

6 Camera Shoot

3 Panasonic HPX170 - HD SDI connected

2 Go Pro Hero 3's - Connected HD SDI through Black Magic Designs Mini adapters

1 JVC GY-HM790 flying via Stedicam - Connected HD SDI through Teradeck Bolt wireless


We were also live in house on two jumbotron screens. My longest cable run was 516 feet. That one was powered through a Black Magic Designs SDI amp.

Hey illpicasso, since this is a system we market and I put many hours in to selection and design we don't publish the detailed specs.
I will tell you it's i7 based, 2G Nvidia CG, 16gigs ram, SSD sys drive plus other drives for recording and playback.We use top of line manufactures for components for the best performance and warranties. The systems are very stable and built to last and upgradable.

makes sense I have to purchase a system soon the bm tv studio is great but is limited in its graphic capabilities, as well as frame rates, looks like vmix is the solution but the pc i have right now won't even power an mp4 on the input once i turn on the external render

No tracking system. We're preparing for this production again this year right now. Looking at cable cam or quadcopter for some tracking shots.
