Download the DesktopCapture ZIP from http://www.vmixhd.com/download.aspx

When you open the ZIP, the file will decompress in to the folder you saved the ZIP - usually your Downloads folder.

You're looking for a file called vMixDesktopCapture.app

Drag vMixDesktopCapture.app to your Applications folder (you'll find it on the left-pane of your Finder window).

Go in to the Applications folder and double-click vMixDesktopCapture.app - the first time you run it you will get a security message about opening new programs - just click 'Open' on that and you won't be warned again.

As long as your Mac is connected to the same network as your vMix PC, it will show in desktop capture on the vMix console.

NOTE: if the local firewall is blocking all incoming connections, you'll need to allow vMixDesktopCapture.app through - see instructions here;

Hi,

Make sure you have downloaded the OSX version of the program and that you have OSX Mountain Lion or higher installed.

System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Firewall -> Firewall Options

You can allow the app to accept incoming connections there

(be sure to unlock the panel before you click firewall options)
