Thanks for the reports guys.
Keep in mind that some audio features of flash inputs such as Bus and Audio Meter are linked together for all flash inputs and can't be separated.

vMix 14 (14.0.0.85) has been posted to the web site

Fixes:

* Web Tally Light was not being reassigned when changing input
* Fixed mute button when adding Flash Input.
* Improved resizing of desktop capture windows
* Display #1 in vMix will now always be the primary display to prevent confusion when windows mixes up the display order.
(#2 should now always be the secondary display.)
* Added clearer error message when Adobe Flash Player is not installed.

OK. Is that documented in the help (searched before I posted my report, but could not find any info)

Another minor bug. If the Stream settings window is open, and External frame rate (as well as resolution I guess) is changed, that change is not propagated to the streaming settings. Or rather maybe is, because if the Settings window is closed, and reopened, the change is commited. But if one for example change External with Stream settings open and does a Save and close it's unclear what one has changed.

Also, not sure what "Restart" the Flash stream Input implies. If I have an Input with a stream, and the stream is temporarily off and then on again, the Input remains frozen even though I press Restart. Making a Change in the Input with the same stream URL kicks it back live.

Right click the Stream input and select Reset.
The restart button is for video playback as some flash input types such as FLV files can be restarted, while live streams cannot.

OK, tried and worked nicely. Suggest a note on "Reset" in the help file.

Also, please consider making the "Restart" button do a Reset if that can be implemented (kind of intuitive for the operator if the stream freezes).

I may have another bug - I am using just a single camera input (actually a Blackmagic ATEM 1 M/E switching the cameras), but using vMix for commercials and graphics overlays for sports broadcasts at a small college. The main live window is a Decklink capture input from the ATEM, with a scoreboard overlay (live png from the Sportzcast LiveSportzCG program) and a text overlay for messages setup as a multiview pair of overlays.

We stream to ustream at multiple resolutions (720p, 360p and 270p), and when a playlist is running a commercial, and only when streaming, I am getting random flashes of the score banner. At the same time, the png input flashes off.

The effect is reduced if we cut in a non-changing input to the preview window. Maybe a wierd memory usage issue? An artifact of my resolution switching (cameras are 1080i because that is all I have)?

Dear Admin,
I just installed vMix 14 and have problem connect with vMix social. But when I downgrade (installed with ver 13) then I can connect with vMix social.

Is there something I missed? I do same setting on vmix 13, but when use vmix 14, I can't connect with vmix social.

Thanks,
Dede

Greeting from Indonesia :)

redbeard, what graphics card are you using?
I have seen this happen on old Intel graphics drivers on Windows 7. Maybe a driver update will fix it.

Dede,
Check the vMix settings under the web tab and make sure Web is Enabled and set to 8088

Not sure if it's important/necessary, but I noticed that changing the position/zoom for an Input used as Key/Fill input is ignored when keying.

I'm having an issue with vMix 14.0.0.86. When you go into the add input or settings pages, the software appears to be hanging up for as much as 10-15 seconds. It will eventually start responding again, and the settings window will lose focus and go behind the main vMix window. I am running vMix on a Core i7-3770 with 8GB of RAM running Windows 7 Professional.

It's very short the time duration in the triggers, it would be good to use: duration 1500000ms

The two likely causes are 3rd party codecs or problematic drivers.
Try uninstalling anything you don't need on the system and see if it helps.
Check for the latest drivers for all hardware as well.

I just installed version 14.0.0.86 and everything worked great except opening an mp4 video file. The picture is doubled and in the upper 4th of the frame. Reinstalled version 13 with no problem playing mp4 video within vMix. All other files play correctly.
RKDSmedia attached the following image(s):

Have you tried other different mp4 videos?
The mp4 playback hasn't changed since 13, so not sure what the issue could be.

Could you add the video go to Input Settings and take a screenshot of the advanced tab?

Thanks,

Martin

vMix 14.0.0.93 has been uploaded to the web site.

Additions:

* New built in MJPEG Encoder for AVI compatible with Sony Vegas.
* Quality from 1 to 100% can be set by clicking the cog icon.
* OverlayInput1Zoom shortcut added to zoom in and out of a PictureInPicture overlay.

Fixes:

* Magewell deinterlacing will now only be disabled if an interlaced frame rate such as 59.94i is set in the Add Input window.
If 29.97p is selected this will tell vMix you want to use the Magewell deinterlacing instead.
* Fixed issue with some RTSP cameras such as the panasonic wj-GXE500 encoder.
* Fixed crash in vMix Desktop Capture when screen is changed or locked under Windows 8.
* Fixed interlaced quality issue with External Output and Blackmagic devices.

By the way, for those reporting Intensity Pro issues I ran a number of tests today on vMix 14 without issue.

Analog 720x480 NTSC for 5 hours
HDMI 720x480 NTSC for 3 hours
HDMI 1920x1080 59.94i for 2 hours
Analog 720x576 PAL

This was with Blackmagic Desktop Video Driver 10.2.3 and vMix 14.0.0.86
