I am a student(so the budget is slightly not so high) and want to use vmix for the student club program such as talkshow and other.

@ musafir "Best" and "affordable" are not always terms that fit well together... I would suggest reading through the Supported Hardware page here: http://www.vmix.com.au/supported-hardware.aspxAnd look at the broad range of products that meet or exceed vMix's requirements and ascertain what components you can "afford" for your build. And then research to insure all of your selected components are compatible with each other. Certainly, you'll pay a slight premium from the "turn key" solutions offered by these vMix resellers here: http://www.vmix.com.au/systems/But all have products that are well tested and configured for vMix and should give you some sort of idea as to what kind of "costs" you are looking at to achieve the goals you are after. There are no "simple" or "easy" answers to your question, but the more research you do, the better off you will be at avoiding "costly" mistakes. Best of luck and keep us informed with regards to your progress! Ice

For capture card try decklink mini recorder ($145) x 4 unit then decklink mini monitor ($145) x 1 4 hdmi input and 1 hdmi output. So for the PC motherboard you need at least 6 PCIe input. For Processor, I use intel i5, RAM 8GB, VGA Nvidia 750.

If you choose to go with a 6 PCIe slot mobo be careful that all slots work at the same time. You'll need to download the manual and read the small print. A few years old now but the Gigabyte GA-890-FXA UD5 offers 6 simultaneous PCIe slots as well as a USB3 port that works with a BM Shuttle. I use an AMD quad core CPU, 8 GB RAM and an MSI Radeon 7850 2GB graphics card which also has an HDMI output. Using Windows 7 Ultimate it is rock solid for live mixing up to 8 cameras but I have not tried it extensively for virtual studio, green screen or multiple p-in-p FX. It also works well with the Magewell XI400DE which has 4 HDMI inputs on a single PCIe card. The Magewell doesn't like the BM shuttle, however. BM Intensity Pro cards offer video out OR video in, not both at the same time, and are as cheap as chips on ebay. I hope this helps.

We're using:
3x Avertv HD DVR High Definition / Analog Video Capture Card PCIe MTVHDDVRR for capture. They're a bit less expensive than the BM cards ($90) but they only support 1080i not 1080p. i5 3570k CPU (not overclocked at the moment.) GTX 650
We record & stream @ 720p plus have two full screen external outputs (multiview and output.)

We use 4 capture cards with the following system:
motherboard: P8Z68 DELUXE Cpu: intel 2600k Ram: 16gb C drive : 120 gb ssd Data drive for recording : revodrive 3 (120gb) Datadrive for archive : 3TB western digital Videocard: gtx 570
Runs very smooth, no problems at all with 4 capture cards + 1 firewire camera.
We can stream and record at the same time, we use mpeg or mjpeg for recording, flme for streaming.
recording: 1080, 12 mbit mpeg, or 60% compression mjpeg. Streaming : 3.5 mbit
