Flash media encoder dropped frames

Hi love VMIX does all I want and more. The problem I am having is dropped input frames when live streaming, its fine as long as I don't have record, external activated but as soon as I enable either then flash starts to report dropped input frames.
this happens on both my MacBook pro (I7 8GB ram with 250gb SSD and my desktop AMD X4 8GB and 128 SSD), I've played around with various settings in vmix and flash encoder but no change. CPU usage sits around 65% on both machines when recording
Anyone one offer any help on this

Kenny, try using FFMPEG as the encoder instead. It is kinder on CPU resources. FMLE will drop frames if it doesn't have enough resources.
I assume you are using the latest build. If not download it....
