Hi,
I'm running Vmix with 2 cameras. In addition to Vmix, I have another system - a logging system that should get a trigger (+5v OR dry contact) ONLY when Vmix starts RECORDING.
I thought to alter TALLY system to indicate RECORDING but didn't succeed.
Any help will be welcomed/appriciated.
Thanks,
Sharon

I have managed to get an Arduino with an eathernet shield to monitor the recording status of v mix use it the XML from the API to drive some " ON AIR" lights , if I can find the code I will post there

Hi, I'm using an hardware command to start and stop the recording at distance. Actualy i have a keyboard chip with 2 butons connected to "R" to start recording and "S" to stop it. To have a visual for the state of recording i'm using a basic electronic flip-flop with a LED. The problem of this solution is the LED is not sync with vmix and if i have an electronic bug i can't be shure if the recording is realy start. I think the best solution is in the tally configuration where it could be possible to assign a pin to "rec state" (with the same arduino system than tally).
I don't know if it is easy to implement this to vmix ( Hi Martin !) but it would be a great.
