Something is strange and have changed from the beta versions.
I load an image (1200*800) - creates a virtual input / or loads another image/video - load each input as main and preview. When I make a FADE transition between the two images - the main output quickly changes format size (like switching to FullHD) and back again.
It look very strange and is not ready for production.
Am I the only one having this issue ?

I'm not seeing any issues fading between images. If I fade between two identical images the screen looks identical before, during the fade and after.
Can you confirm your Output Size, Preview Size and Input Size in settings?

Hi Martin,
I have tried to make a recording so you can see what is happening. It is hopefully attached this message. After making the recording I did <settings>--<default>, and after this - the problem is gone again and everything looks fine :-)
Thanks for you quick respons and have a nice weekend.
/Ulrik

Would it also be possible to get dvcpro hd codec for multicorder when using VS4? VS4 use that codec in matrox software in pc. Now there is only matrox mpeg iframe hd available in multi corder. Dvcpro hd could be natively edited in FCP and would be great for us who likes to edit with FCP and mac. Prores would be best but I guess it can not be recorded by pc? Playback is available in vmix and that is great.

All in all v14 is sooooo nice :) Occasionally when something goes wrong when Changing an Input (ie sometimes when the "vMix Error" window shows up), the Input is removed instead of being reverted back to what is was. This is a problem as the Input numbering is rearranged, messing up my setup. It has happened a few times, and I have always been so stressed when it happened that forgot to make a note of what actually went wrong. I think at one time it Apologize for not having clear information yet... Also noticed that when Master frame rate is changed, External output is changed too. I do not think that is a good behavior. According to the help Master frame rate: "All inputs will be converted to this Frame Rate. This should be set to match the frame rate of the Video Camera sources where possible". Another thing is that when changing a camera Input, and selecting a camera device has been used before, its input, resolution and frame rate are remembered (set to what it was), but Audio device is set to "Built in audio" even though it was "None". Kind of anoying for us who never use camera audio. (I take the opportunity here to remind about Setting default audio device when adding Camera Inputs).

Thanks Martin. How about Master frame rate's influence on External output's frame rate? If you think that the way it is it should be, then maybe add a "Master and External frame rates set to xxx" message?

With regards to Master Frame Rate, there is a bit of "ease of use" code added there that will automatically change the External output frame rate as well if they were both the same before the change.
However, if you have the External Output set to a different frame rate to Master, then vMix should keep that setting as is.

Well, I just tried with 14.0.0.82
Set default setting, and chose SD 576 25p (restart) Checked that both Main and External output was 25p Changed Master to 50p (restart) Checked that Main was 50p, and found that External output also had changed to 50p.
Am I missing something?
EDIT: Yes, I did. Misread your "change the External output frame rate as well if they were both the same before the change". So, then it boils down to if "ease of code" or "user expectation" is to preferr...
Again, I can live with the former, but beg for a warning message

Yes thats correct because when you changed the Master Frame Rate to 50p, both the master and external were 25p, so it changed both to 50p. The following steps will retain external frame rate:
1. Change Master to 50p 2. Set External to 25p 3. Restart 4. Change Master to 29.97p 5. External will stay at 25p.
EDIT: In summary, both frame rates are "linked" unless they are changed separately at the same time in the settings window.

Hello Martin, I found this in fixes: "Fixed UI display issues when Windows set to custom DPI" Could it be that it is the problem described here: http://forums.vmix.com.a....aspx?g=posts&t=2762Because I had custom DPI settings in this scenario. Regards, Andreas.

No, it shouldn't be related to DPI.
From what I have seen it is related to an Intel Graphics driver issue on Windows 7. Windows 8/8.1 appears to be fine. You can try checking for the latest graphics drivers and installing them to fix the problem. (Or switch to EVR)

I am playing with the possibilities to be able to feed Flash RTMP streams into vMix. Having fun, looking forward to this :)
Noticed one thing which might be a bug. When I add two inputs, with separate stream sources, I get two audio sources in the mixer. But it seems that the audio from the two feeds cannot be mixed individually. Adjusting the audio level affect both stream inputs. But it is possible to mute one stream at a time.
Also, when adding the Input with a Flash stream audio is on, but Audio button is not green. Clicking Audio button on and then off turns the audio off.

Hi Martin,
I have found a bug in vMix. Here are the steps to reproduce.
1. Add a capture input, cut to that input 2. Go to web interface, tally page, open up tally page for that input, it will have a red background. 3. Go to input settings, Change, select a different capture device. 4. Go back to web interface, tally page, click input. The background is not red anymore.
Saving, closing, and reopening fixes the issue.
Thanks! ---landon
