Has anyone had success getting sound as well as video from an IP camera in vMix? Please let me know if so...

As long as the audio from the camera is AAC then it should work ok, assuming you're pulling the feed over RTSP

Thanks for that hogwam. However I already had some trouble with a straight-forward video only ip camera over rtsp, only solved with help on the forum. As ip cameras with aac are expensive, I would go ahead only with a make which someone has already got working in vMix. Do you know of any makes which have actually been seen working with video and audio in vMix? Thanks.

Just got the Vivotek IP8162P Full HD 2MP P-Iris WDR Fixed Network Camera working with vMix - there are cheaper cameras out now that do audio and video over the network. However, the audio quickly deteriorates - not sure why. Like it has to skip parts of the audio to keep up with the video.
