Have a friend with the same vMix 14 issue using Sunday Streams for CDN.
@Damn2Good4U - Did you have FFMPEG installed prior to installing vMix 14? If so, I wonder if it was the same version that vMix uses? What CDN are you using?

Hi,
There are two streaming application options in vMix 14, FFMPEG and FMLE. If you see error messages with your particular CDN, they may not fully support FFMPEG in which case switch it to FMLE.
I can look at adding compatibility for other CDNs to FFMPEG with the following information:
1. The provider being used 2. The encoding quality settings used 3. How long it takes for the error to occur, what the error says and does it occur consistently or at a certain time?
Thanks,
Martin vMix

Martin vMix Thanks for your quick response once again... you rock and may thanks for the clarification. I am actually running two instances of streaming i.e. streaming to 2 different providers... with FMLE i am know each one of them are ok individually, but i will not try to stream ffmpeg to each individually to know which one is not compatible with FFMPEG. Thanks Rottimmy Fusionplus TV

I was able to generate the same error with FFMEG streaming to a DaCast Akamai channel. The error occurred after a number of hours. Will try to reproduce again. Steaming two bitrates 500 and 350 kpbs and 64 kbit audio on each stream.

I tried streaming to the 2 CDN individually, and they both worked with no issues separately, but streaming to both simultaneously gives the error after some hours.

Ok. I have now had a multi-bitrate stream going without issue for 16 hours without issue. My conclusion is that the error is caused by transient network conditions that see malformed data reaching the CDN. I have seen similar behaviours with other implementations of FFMPEG as a streaming encoder where the loss of quality on the comms line seems to distrupt the stream causing FFMPEG to exit. FMLE seems to be more forgiving of poor quality lines.
