If you use a common file path to start with, it works fine.

For Example, we store our show assets in a folder on each of our team's C drives: C:/vMix show Assets

Once we all created that folder and moved the assets there, we have kept the actual vMix file on a google drive, so updates to the show are available for all, but those assets never change or move and are there for each team member.

We used to keep all of our assets on a google drive, which worked great for keeping everything in sync, except sometimes the google drive connection would be lost for a second, and it would break playback of all assets that have a play function and are on the google drive. Local hosting is better for anything that plays.


Best to use a folder location that is not tied to your user, since that will change from pc to pc unless they're set up exactly the same. No desktop, no Documents, etc
