Please add as a feature, another slider to crop left and right edges of a layer the same amount at the same time. I shouldn't have to do math to crop a camera frame which generally speaking should always have a balanced crop to remain centered.

This is already possible from the Layer Designer.
Hold down the shift key when dragging the borders from left-right or top-bottom while in Crop mode.
