Is there any way to mark a point in the timeline of instant replay and the timeline to automaticaly pause when it reaches this mark? This feature is very useful in football live broadcasting, when we have an offside replay and we need the exact moment of the pass of the attacker to pause instantly. As an example here is a video and the movent of pause is at 2:41.

Can't see the video but this is indeed often used in football for offside situations. It's a menu option on EVS servers but as far as I know vMix does not support it. Would be nice to have it though.

Another way to word this is the ability to add keyframes to clips or the overall recording. In EVS, those keyframes are basically used for either jump-to targets (you can go e2e and then jump backwards through your mark points) OR as a freeze cue (where playback continues until it hits the keyframe, and then playback freezes until you play again).

On some replay platforms, like DreamCatcher (or I guess the super-new-fangled EVS zoom software), you can use keyframes for triggering pan & zoom movements that you configure.

I imagine vMix are going to want to think through their own flavor of keyframe stuff for data & UI & features. But this post is great for them to know the most common use case in sports out there ('freeze on mark' with EVS).
