When I launching vMix (v29.0.0.48) on a Windows 11 desktop running an RTX 4060 (Studio Driver v8.1.969), all video inputs (specifically NDI feeds and USB webcams) successfully initialize for approximately 5 seconds before immediately freezing. The NDI input turns solid gray and the USB webcam turns solid white.
Replication Steps & Behavior:
Open Settings > Performance and manually change the Display Method from Auto to Legacy.
Clicking OK temporarily resets the Direct3D surface, causing the video feeds to instantly display normally.
However, vMix overrides the user selection of Legacy and automatically reverts the Display Method drop-down back to Auto behind the scenes.
On the subsequent application launch, the inputs freeze again after 5 seconds due to the setting failure.
Current Workaround: The only way to restore the video feeds is to open the input properties and manually toggle hardware acceleration off if on (or off if on), which forces a reload of vMix.
Anyone else see this problem? - I was not able to find it via search.

Reinstall vMix, as the installation is corrupt.
(Specifically, some program running on your system prevented some files from being updated, leading to old files in your vMix install which won't work properly)
Make sure to close all programs first before installing vMix. Also, any messages that appear during the vMix install about not being able to install a file should never be ignored.
