I do live streaming for our church. Somehow I've lost the audio feed from our mixer to VMix and no longer see the levels displayed beside the transition buttons.

I'm not sure why it happened and cannot get them back.

Does the absence of the level indicators mean VMix cannot see any audio source? I've tried manipulating audio settings in VMix and setting various windows defaults, to no avail.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Most likeley you muted the audio device. Check the Audio Mixer (https://www.vmix.com/help29/Mixer.html) if it is still there, and get to know the basics of audio in vMix (https://www.youtube.com/@vMixhd/search?query=audio).

And, how do you get the audio into vMix? If you get it through a camera into vMix, this may be relevant for you:

Many thanks . I think you've pointed me in the right direction. The tutorial does show how the VU meters toggle with settings.
FYI we have 2 PTZOptics cameras (without audio) and a mixing board. Audio from an AUX on the sound board goes to VMiz through a RCA-to-USB adapter. THANKS AGAIN!!
