Now when network video is more and more becoming one of the big standards and machines can have multiple Netwok cards installed vMix should have the option to set the default NIC that it uses.

In general, the correct way to do this is via subnets and vlans, or via routing settings at the OS level.
Most apps and APIs (including NDI) do not provide a way for apps to control the NIC used as a result.
So if you provide the specific network scenario you need this for, I or others can advise on ways to control this.

Yes, I'm running vMix since ages with multiple NICs. There is really no issues. Even w/o a managed switch you could use OS routing to send different traffic over dedicated NICs.
