Input 1 = HDMI camera 1080p 50PAL. This is added to vMix replay. When replay is triggered showing just this input, I see it played the replay footage nicely.

Input 2 = NDI camera 1080p 30FPS (maximum fps it can do)

Input 3 = NDI camera 1080p 30FPS (maximum fps it can do)

If I try to play a replay of Inputs 2 or 3, the replay is a black screen.

Inputs 2 & 3 are loaded in vMix fine. I can play them live fine. It's just on replay, it shows a black frame.

I have tried:

• Set network to public and private
  
• Swap between NDI HX2, HX3 in NDI camera settings
  
• Swap between H264 and H265 in NDI camera settings
  
• Swap between NTSC 30 and PAL 50 on replay settings (my canvas is set to 50)
  

vMix 29.0.0.47

No amount of changes seem to work.

Any ideas?


Edit: I installed the vMix VLC media add-on, and added the NDI cameras via RTSP - when I do this, vMix replay DOES work. but this isn't good as the RTSP is a lot slower than NDI...

There's a roundabout way to work around things like this. Configure a couple of your outputs (outputs 2 and 3, for example) to use your NDI cameras as their source. Then, in the replay settings, instead of using the NDI cameras directly, use the outputs. The outputs will convert whatever framerate/resolution/etc the camera is using, to the canvas resolution/framerate of vMix, and should make replay happy.
