Hello everyone, I need to stream the program while having one of the inputs (an NDI input taken from another computer on the same network) sent to the external. The result should be that I send a video input to Zoom – which is the NDI captured from the other computer and output via the external – whilst simultaneously streaming to another platform. So I need to send everything happening in the live stream on the other platform to Zoom. I can’t assign the input to the external’s second output, every time I activate the external, the program feed always comes through. Can anyone explain how to do this? Sorry, but I’m a bit of a newbie.

If I understand correctly, you need the NDI source in Zoom. A direct way would be to use NDI Webcam (part of NDI Tools), without vMix in the middle, or use NDI Webcam with an NDI output of vMix. Another way would be to connect vMix directly to the Zoom meeting (https://www.vmix.com/help29/Zoom.html). These are the options I would use.

Regarding the 2nd external output: What is your vMix version? More than one external output needs 4K, Pro or Max (https://www.vmix.com/purchase/#comparisontable).

Thank you very much for your reply. It turns out I simply hadn’t ticked the ‘vMix Video / Streaming’ option on External 2. I can now send the NDI feed to Zoom using the external and either using NDI webcam as you described, but I’ve noticed an audio delay of around 1000ms. To recap: I’m streaming on a platform, and I’m using NDI to capture the audio and video of the event taking place on that platform so I can send it to Zoom. I can’t get the audio to sync on Zoom; if I use the NDI feed, the audio is split into two channels, and if I use the program feed, there’s a delay of about 1000ms. Thanks again for your help
