I suspect this is a Birddog issue, but I don't have any other NDI cameras handy that stream in full bandwidth NDI. The XL Ultra has the main camera, and then a second little wide angle camera in the body. Both cams can stream NDI|HX, but the main camera also streams full bandwidth NDI simultaneously. I can add both cameras to vMix via NDI|HX, and I've left it on for days straight and everything is still working fine when I check back. When I add the Full NDI stream vMix will freeze, crash - often times it just disappears like it was never open - and it doesn't usually take long for this to happen. I checked the box for FEIM when adding it, and that seemed to prevent vMix from crashing outright - but the input still freezes up in no time.

The one caveat to blaming this solely on Birddog is that in NDI Viewer the camera works just fine, even while it's frozen or has crashed vMix.

All in all I'm finding Birddog to be pretty buggy, especially compared to the Panasonic cameras we use. I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues like this either with NDI Full Bandwidth on any camera, or perhaps only with Birddog or this particular model.

I originally had the cameras set to RUDP, which is what I use on all of my other cameras. I switched to TCP for testing, and thought that helped but then vMix went poof on me earlier today with the cam using TCP, and high bandwidth stream set to 1080 30P.

I agree. Last weekend I streamed a concert with 3x P200, 2x Obsbot Tail Air, 2x Panasonic (older PTZ). Two of the P200 it was just connect over PoE and have fun. The third I had to restart/ reboot at least 3 times until it was stable and usable. This never happens when I use the Canon Nxxx series or the Panasonics. Just the BD cams. So yes, it seems a lot of issues with these cams and I can highly recommend the Canon PTZ. They also start very low in price.
