I'd like to make a suggestion for an option on NDI sources that if/when the NDI stream is lost that a selectable image could be optionally displayed rather than the last frame.

Showing last frame causes issues as when a scene is often stationary and the operator has no indication that the signal is not live. Similar to when vMix call is dropped, optionally, something other than the last frame is useful to avoid the potential for airing inoperative video. Would love for it to go to bars but even black is better than displaying a scene the operator believes is live but isn't.

This happened to me one time when I was bringing several NDI sources into my production. One of them was a camera shot where the talent had sat in position on a chair during pre-production setup, but then had to step away until a couple of minutes before showtime.

I was under the impression that the camera shot of the chair continued to be active while he was away -- only to realize as he returned that the image was frozen (perhaps because we unknowingly flooded the network; not sure). This would be a great way to become aware of such an issue.
